Singin’ in the Rain – In Concert

As the much-loved classic film, made famous by the late and great Gene Kelly, celebrated its 70th anniversary, audiences got to experience the delightful story, beautiful voices and some of the best tapping and dance talent this country has ever seen.
Showcasing the talents some of Australia’s top calibre performers including Bobby Fox (Jersey Boys, Riverdance, Hot Shoe Shuffle) as Don Lockwood, Angelique Cassimatis (A Chorus Line, Strictly Ballroom, Hair) as Kathy Selden, Mark Hill (West Side Story, Tap Pack, Muriel’s Wedding the Musical) as Cosmo Brown and Georgina Hopson (Phantom of the Opera, Jagged Little Pill, Ragtime) as Lina Lamont; this production also featured some of Brisbane’s finest local talent in an exciting, fresh and never-before-seen concert presentation.
This glorious production was directed by Sydney’s talented Cameron Mitchell and featured a richly memorable musical score performed by an on-stage orchestra, under the baton of the highly acclaimed Vanessa Scammell.
Audiences came in droves for the opportunity to see history in the making – as many of Australia’s best creatives and artists collaborated together on our local turf.
